Happy New Year
can you please advise if you would be able to repair a Brother P1000 that has a timing issue.
Thank you in advance
regards
Julia :o)
Have a great day
Hi Julia,
I have just spoken to our technician and he recommended bringing it in so that he can have a look at it to determine if it is just a timing issue.
We are located at the Big Top Shopping Centre – 1290 Logan Road Mt Gravatt and are open each day if you are able to bring it in so we could have a look at it for you.
Many thanks
Sewco Team
The bobbin keeps jamming on my Brother XL-3022. Is this likely to be expensive to fix?
Hi Amanda
A new bobbin case would cost $15. We can post to you if you can not get into the store.

Hi
I’ve bought an old Singer 201P and obviously someone’s mucked around with the tension assembly and the check spring is deformed. Can you tell me how much for a technician to make it sew-worthy again? Thanks!
Abbi
Hi
We offer a service fee of $150 for machines. It would be very hard for us to quote a price to repair the machine before the technical team could look at it.
Feel free to drop the machine off for us to look at.
Sue
Hi Alan,
Thank you for your email, our technician has indicated that according to our spare parts list we are unable to view that model or the parts for that model. Our next step is to contact Husqvarna directly on Monday 7 January when they are back in operation. In the meantime, if you would like to bring the Husqvarna 100 into the store he is willing to have a look at it for you and repair it for you if needed. We are unfortunately unable to supply the Terminal Box to the public due to electrical safety reasons, however we are more than willing to have a look at it and replace the terminal box if needed and if the part is still available. For further information regarding this please contact Gareth on 07 3849 4176.
