The move to our New Store happened last weekend
Last weekend saw the big move for Sewco from our old home at Mt Gravatt to our brand new home at Kessels Central, 583 – 585 Kessels Road, McGregor. With tradesmen still working to finish installation of walls and electrical works, along with cabinets to be placed and stock to be put away, the new store was certainly hectic on Saturday morning when the move began. The Sewco team split between Mt Gravatt to pack stock and load into the removal truck and at McGregor busily dusting and putting cabinets and displays into place so that stock could be assembled and unpacked when it came off the truck the move . Over two huge days the move was done and the store opened on Monday.
Unfortunately not all the construction at the back of the store for our storage and offices had been completed when we opened on Monday but that has not stop us from seeing lots of friendly faces calling in to see us at our new home. Many ladies were excited to see our classroom already being used and keen to see the storeroom and offices completed and ready for our Grand Opening on 12th October. This day will be a fantastic fun day with an outside broadcast with 4BC being held from the front of the store, a sausage sizzle available so that you will not go hungry when you call into see us and fantastic Grand Opening specials being offered on the day.
We have included lots of photos of the fun of the move for you all to see what happened over the weekend.
