Sew and Tell at Sewco
Many ladies ask me when they come into the store for classes when Sew and Tell will be in Snippets. I try to have a Sew and Tell segment at least once a month but remember that whenever you finish a project that you are working on whether it is in class or at home, please bring it into the shop so we can photograph it and share it will everyone who appreciates the time, love and effort you put into every stitch.
These cute owls were very popular. If you remember we featured a very cute little pillowcase made from the same fabric by one of our little Sew and Tellers last month.
One of our very proud beginners showing off her completed quilt. Don’t the oranges and browns work well together?
This table runner is just wonderful in it’s oriental themed fabric and design and with 3D flowers adding dimension, it is certainly a work of art for any table.
I watched this pretty quilt as it was worked on in class here at the store. The pastel and purples in this quilt are one of my favourite combination of colours. We were told that the quilt went onto the bed and her husband asked it to be removed off the bed as it was too heavy, of course after all that work and time, the quilt won out and stayed in place.
The love in making this beautiful Christening Gown if evident. Joyce certainly has put a lot of detail into this gown.
The detail in this bag is extraordinary. Carmel has put a lot of time and effort into making a bag that is certainly a one off piece.
Jan has been very busy with two floral inspired creations to show to everyone. They certainly both are gorgeous pieces.
