New Embroidery Project classes that are fun-filled. Don’t miss out – come along and join Julie!
Do you love embroidery as much as our lovely Julie? We had many ladies attend the Mystery Embroidery revisted class last week, where they shared their love of everything embroidered. Julie had a fantastic project for everyone to work on that any little girl would be happy to receive and many ladies completed their project during the lesson (with many of the ladies going home to make more cupcakes). If you think these Cupcake Purses are as cute as we do, there are still a few vacancies for our Thursday 30th May class, if you would like to come along and join in the fun.
Julie holds Mystery Embroidery classes on the second Thursday of each month, with two times to choose from. You can come in the afternoon between 1-4pm or if you work or have little people that you look after during the day, we hold an evening class between 6pm – 9pm. There is also a third class on the last Friday of the month in the afternoon.
We are currently working on the classes for the July to December and are pleased to annouce that we will be having more fun filled and exciting project classes that are sure to please everyone. On the third and fourth Thursday of each month, we will be starting an Embroidery Projects class. These classes will run over two days, where you will start your project on the first Thursday and complete it on the second. Julie has been busily working to get the projects completed so that everyone can see what they can look forward to making.
The first project block will be on 19th June and 26th June and you will be working on an embroidered and stitched bag. This bag is ideal for carrying your creations to and from class or as a gift for someone else who loves the world of sewing. Julie tells me that if you attended the Machine Embroidery Basics class with her, this is the perfect class to continue your embroidery journey. Cost of the class is $27.50 per class.
We will be then holding the next Embroidery Projects class on 18th September and 25th September where Julie will show you how to make this bright and colourful Accuquilt Appliqued bag. This project will highlight to you the ease of using the Accuquilt system to allow your imagination bring to life your cut designs. Using Applique, Embroidery and sewing, this bag will be the envy of all your friends.
