Kids can sew too – Do you have a creative child that would love to learn to sew?
We enjoy seeing the children coming into the classes eager to see what they are going to create in one of Jo’s classes. During the recent school holidays we held classes where over 20 girls made a summer top. But did you know we also have a Kids Club that is now held on a Saturday so that those children who wish to continue gaining more experience can come along and learn through sewing a new project each month. In these classes they learn about cutting out patterns, construction of a garment, sewing and general knowledge that they can use to sew at home. If you are interested in enrolling your child into our next Kids Club it is being held on Saturday 27th February and there are two sessions to choose from – one between 9.15am – 12.15pm and another between 1pm – 4pm. Below are the photos of the January school holiday classes and they show how much fun they have and what the children in our classes can achieve.
