Creative best shines with Sew and Tell at Sewco
I was asked this week whether I had any Sew and Tell to put into Snippets this week by some of the ladies at Embroidery Club on Tuesday. I promised I would show everyone some of the wonderful projects both quilting, embroidery and sewing that have come into the store recently.
This beautiful quilt is the Stitchers Garden but instead of colour this absolutely stunning quilt looks fantastic in black and white.
The colours and the detailed pattern on this quilt certainly makes it a work of art.
This smiley little show and teller came in to show us her pillowcase that she had made with Grandma during the school holidays.
We thought we would show some of the creations that come out of our Your Choice Sewing classes with Jo. This vibrant coat was certainly an eyecatcher where ever you wear it.
Continuing our Christmas in July theme, this cheery and bright quilt will certainly make people smile at Santa time.
This Pacific Gems Quilt is still a work in progress but you have to admit it will be stunning when it is completely finished.
This quilt will make a fantastic gift for the little girl it was made for. Featuring embroidery from one of the Anita Goodesigns this farmyard theme could be used for either boys or girls.
Oriental themed quilts are always popular but this quilt is a little different. The lettering and the snake certianly make an eyecatching contrast on this quilt.
During the school holidays we ran our Kids can Sew class. These happy little girls made an apron which they are proudly wearing.
